1. Remove data from your device
Gofarely does not have a separate user account. It stores linked-provider state, saved and recent places, active ride information and ride history on your device.
- Complete or cancel any active ride with the provider first.
- Open the Link tab in Gofarely and log out of each connected provider.
- On Android, open Settings → Apps → Gofarely → Storage (or Storage & cache) and choose Clear storage / Clear data. Menu names vary by device. Uninstalling the app also removes its local app data.
These steps remove your local Gofarely data. They do not delete provider accounts, provider ride records, or information already processed by our backend.
2. Request deletion from Gofarely
Email support@gofarely.in with the subject Gofarely data deletion request. Tell us whether your request concerns support correspondence, server records associated with app use, or both. Include approximate dates and only the account details necessary to help identify the relevant information.
We will review the request, ask for limited verification if needed, and confirm the outcome. Information needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention or security may need to be retained; we will explain relevant exceptions. We cannot erase records controlled by a ride provider.
3. Manage your provider accounts
To delete your Uber, Ola or Rapido account, remove provider ride history or revoke provider sessions, use the privacy or account controls in the official provider app or contact that provider’s support. Logging out of Gofarely does not delete those accounts.
Clearing data does not cancel an active ride. Verify any cancellation directly with the ride provider.
